FULL NAME: Millicent “Millie” Hatman

BACKSTORY:

Millicent originally enlisted in the fleet as a Yeoman, by way of the Technical Services Academy on Mars. This was her back door into Starfleet, being unable to make the Academy entrance process at the time. Her long term ambitions came true as she moved up the ladder until she became an officer in Operations, then took on a whole new turn. Twice a Second Officer, Millicent was recommended for the Command Line, both times. She took the one year Command training at the Academy to that effect. Two assignments as First Officer followed.

Thanks to her track record and a tidy pile of medals, Millicent was picked up to become the XO of the USS Missouri by one of her captains of old. Unlike the CO, she made it to Blue Base a little ahead of the shakedown cruise ordered on short notice. While she should have been the acting Captain on that account, she bowed to necessity, rank and good sense when VAdm. Hammond took command.

On varied reasons, Millicent’s only family is the family of heart she formed for herself over the years.
