FULL NAME: Gracie Leigh Hammond
RANK: Vice Admiral
POSITION: Commanding Officer

BACKSTORY: 

Gracie chose to follow a proud family tradition of service, dating as far back as the twentieth century. She rose through the ranks as a tactical officer, and eventually served as captain of the Ambassador class USS Salamanca.

Following the Sally’s destruction at the battle of Wolf 359, Gracie transferred to the Galaxy-X dreadnought development project, where she was eventually appointed Project Leader and CO of the classified R&D facility known only as Blue Base.

At the beginning of the Dominion War, Gracie was ordered to evacuate the base and take the prototype USS Missouri into hiding to until the ship was combat-ready. However, the ship disappeared shortly after launch…

Gracie has always prioritized career and duty over family, and as a result has been divorced twice and widowed once. However, she’s perfectly content to be the crazy aunt (and now great-aunt) who occasionally drops in with wild stories and gifts from the places she’s visited.
